I am a creative and focused freelance designer. I have gained experience in the graphic design industry whilst attending Hornsby Tafe NSW to obtain a Diploma in Graphic Design. I am a creative person with an interest in gaming and technology and I enjoy designing illustrations. I am motivated by new challenges and opportunities, and I think outside the square. I would like to further develop my skills in graphic design through working in a professional industry and to gain new knowledge and insight from
senior designers.

Graphic design work experience

Freelance for Hornsby Tafe Showcase Event

The Showcase Event allows Graphic Design diploma students to display their completed diploma projects to current and future students, the community, and prospective employers. I created an e-invite and banner for this event.

 

Unifii Pty Ltd

I am undertaking work experience at Unifii Pty Ltd, a technology company. I assist the graphic designer on an ad hoc basis with various projects, including the design of Apps and Icons. I commenced my work experience in 2022, and my relationship with Unifii is on-going.

 

Chase Fitness

I am currently designing a logo, website, and administration paperwork for a personal fitness business, for work experience purposes.

Skills

  • Teamwork - my study at TAFE NSW has taught me how to receive and give feedback positively in a team environment, as well as how to collaborate in team- based projects. My cohort at TAFE NSW come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. I have learned to value the maturity, opinions and experiences of others whilst being true to my own creativity.· Self-reliance – much of my work experience and my study at TAFE NSW required me to work alone and take responsibility for my work.

  • Communication – I am able to communicate clearly and professionally with my peers, teachers and co-workers when requesting help and/or feedback for a task. Whilst working in retail, I have learned the importance of customer service, whilst developing the ability to deal with difficult customer and client interactions. I am able to write professional written communications.

  • Time-management – managing my education and a responsible part-time job has enhanced my time-management skills.

Education

Cheltenham Girls High School (2018-2022)

During my high school education, I excelled in the creative subjects, particularly Wood Technology and Graphics. I successfully completed year 10 and joined TAFE in order to focus on creative pursuits.
